Who was your most influential teacher and why?
My most influential teacher was Ms. Willing because she pushed me to do my best in her class. She also really cares about who I am outside of the classroom.
What was your favorite class and why?
My favorite class was Biology Honors. Even though it was very challenging, I bonded a lot with my classmates. I also enjoyed the format of the class because it felt like a college course.
What was your most memorable experience at Shipley?
I think my most memorable experience at Shipley was the Seniors’ last day. The senior prank was fun (and harmless), the rush through the halls/slip and slide was cool, and Senior Sunset felt very nostalgic. This day it felt like the Senior class was the most cohesive it's ever been, and I enjoyed talking to friends who I've known for years. The final All School Assembly was also a very memorable experience, and I think that all the Seniors felt proud to be there. Plus, it was really fun making the briefcase video with Ethan and showing it to the whole school! Overall, the end of the academic year for the Seniors was my favorite experience at Shipley because it reminded us of everything we did to get there.

Please write a short reflection on your time at Shipley and what it has meant to you.
I've been at Shipley for 14 years and I'm proud to be a part of the Class of 2024. The most meaningful part of my Shipley experience has always been the people and the community. I appreciate all the teachers who've helped me along the way, and all my classmates who have stood by each other throughout Lower, Middle, and Upper school. Go Gators!
