Squash Academy
The Shipley Squash Academy has an athlete-focused approach where we create specific, individualized programs and training routines for each player to improve. We believe in not only working on players weakness but also in developing strengths into super strengths. The academy offers individual lessons, clinics for juniors, match play squads, US Squash sanctioned tournaments, holiday camps and an extensive summer camp program. Our squash academy is all inclusive and strives to provide an opportunity for players to go from grassroots to greatness on and off the court!

Program Overview
- 5 International singles squash courts.
- US Squash, club locker scoring system with iPads and score monitors above each court.
- A coaching team with over 50 years experience, ranging from expertise in mini squash to developing world-class athletes.
- A squash venue for sanctioned US Squash tournaments
- A fully comprehensive squash program encompassing clinics and lessons to take juniors from grassroots to greatness.
- A school program with a top 10 national finish for the MS Boys and Girls and top 16 finish for the boy’s high school and top 30 national finish for the girl's high school.

Level 1 Clinic
Read MoreThis clinic is our entry level into the academy. It’s designed for players aged from 5 years old through to 8 years old. It has 2 coaches running each clinic as the focus is on understanding basic technique and all basic shots.Player’s training in the level 1 clinic do not need to do any additional training away from the clinic, or play tournaments or take lessons. This clinic is fun and ideal for young players who are new to the sport.Sept 9th – Nov 10thWednesdays: 5:00 - 6:00 pm Saturdays: 9:00 – 10:00 am

Level 2 Clinic
Read MoreLevel 2 is designed for older beginner players approximately aged between 10 and 15 years of age. It is also perfect for younger players who already play squash and are looking to be more consistent. It has 2 coaches running each clinic as the focus is on understanding basic technique, all shots, movement patterns and tactics of the game.Player’s training in the level 2 clinic do not need to do any additional training away from this clinic, or
play tournaments or take lessons. This clinic is fun and a great way of staying active and learning new shots.Sept 9th – Nov 10thWednesdays: 5:00 - 6:00 pm Saturdays: 9:00 – 10:00 am

Level 3 Clinic
Our level 3 clinic focuses on taking our basic technique and tactics to a higher level with advanced tactics, movement patterns, technical analysis and S&C components.This clinic is for students who are approx. 10 years of age or older and compete in US squash sanctioned tournament and/or playing in one of the middle school A teams or Upper school varsity/Junior varsity programs. Players in this clinic are required to be enrolled in private lessons (these lessons do not have to be at Shipley) and are engaged in at least 1 hour of solo per week.Sept 9th – Nov 10thMondays & Wednesdays:6:00 - 7:00 pm

Level 4 Clinic
The level 4 clinic focuses on achieving peak performance, emphasizing advanced tactics, technical analysis and comprehensive match play preparation. This level has 2 coaches per clinic and 1 PSA pro training with the students.It is strictly for players with a 4.5+ US Squash rating or higher. Consistently play in US Squash gold events and/or play on the upper school varsity teams. Please enquire with the coaches to learn more about this clinic.Sept 9th – Nov 10thTuesdays & Thursdays:6:00 - 7:00 pm
