Middle and Upper School Science Olympiad Teams Earn Medals at Regional Tournament

Shipley's Middle and Upper School Science Olympiad Teams competed in the Pennsylvania Southeast Region Science Olympiad Tournament on March 8 at Penn State Abington. ⁠

Members of the Upper School team earned medals in three events:

3rd Place - Detector Building

The Upper School team placed 10th overall out of 33 schools. And a special shout-out goes to Middle School students Reagan Crothers, Josh Huh, Ethan March, and Bryce Rathman for stepping in to help out the Upper School teams. 

The Middle School team's impressive performance at the regional event yielded 13 Top Four finishes:

The full Middle School Science Olympiad team placed 3rd overall will advance to the State Tournament, held at Penn State Altoona in late April.
