Mia Jackson '25 Named Main Line Student of the Week

Mia Jackson '25 has been named the Main Line Student of the Week for April 21-27 by Main Line Media News.

Mia is a co-head of Shipley’s Model UN, and a co-captain of the school’s debate team. She takes all Honors courses while participating in Shipley TV, service projects, athletics, and starring in musicals. She is also a co-head of the Admissions Ambassador Program, taking prospective families on tours and speaking at open houses.

"In my experience guiding tours and speaking at events with prospective students and parents, the most important thing I have learned is how lucky I am to go to a school with so many opportunities," said Mia. "Every tour, as I walk through the school and describe all of the classes, clubs, ensembles, sports, trips, leadership opportunities, and creative outlets, I realize how important it is to be able to try new things without any fear of rejection or embarrassment. I have discovered how much I love the fact that I can play two sports, and be a part of the musical, AND run Model UN, and take classes that I am interested in, and each tour my goal is to explain this opportunity to new families in hopes that soon their child can have those same opportunities to find their passions."
