Varsity Soccer, Service Committee, Athletics Committee, Yoga, Film Club, Football Forum, Boys Varsity Lacrosse (Team Manager), and Student Athletic Trainer
Who was your most influential teacher and why?
Ms. Willing. She never actually taught me, but she was my advisor for the last four years, and I could not imagine having another advisor. Whether school-related or not, she was always a trustworthy teacher I could talk to about anything.
What was your favorite class and why?
Mr. Frankle's Statistics class, or Mr. Clement's Anatomy and Neuroscience class. Both classes are just very enjoyable. Even though anatomy is a really hard course, all the topics are very engaging and interesting to learn about.
What was your most memorable experience at Shipley?
Winning the Commonwealth Cup with the soccer team a few years ago when we went into a penalty shootout.
What does Courage for the Deed; Grace for the Doing mean to you?
It means taking risks and doing anything necessary to complete a task to the fullest and being kind to one another can go a long way.

The teachers always pushed me to ask questions and do my best, even when I was struggling with something.
How did Shipley encourage you to take risks?
Shipley gave me opportunities to do things out of my comfort zone.

My time at Shipley was wonderful. I got exposed to so many new lessons and experiences and for that I am very grateful. The teachers at this school are amazing. They want to know you as a person and not just as a student, and that goes a long way. All the teachers want to see you do your best always, and will make the time to help you no matter what. I am grateful for everyone who has been a part of my experience at Shipley.
The Shipley School is a private, coeducational day school for pre-kindergarten through 12th grade students, located in Bryn Mawr, PA. Through our commitment to educational excellence, we develop within each student a love of learning and a desire for compassionate participation in the world.
