Gator Tales - Kate Ulrich '28: From GU15 Nationally Ranked to Varsity Squash Star

Kate Ulrich, a current 9th-grade student, has been a part of the Shipley community since Pre-K and has emerged as a standout athlete in the school’s renowned squash program. She first picked up a racket in 4th grade and quickly progressed under the guidance of Shipley Squash Academy Director Chris Lengthorn. Now the number one player on Shipley’s Girls Varsity Squash team, Kate has achieved a career-high ranking of 6th in the nation for GU15 and has secured multiple US Squash Gold tournament titles. Her dedication and skill continue to set her apart as a top competitor in the sport.
